Limescale is the most common cause of coffee machine failure, so it is very important to remove it in a timely manner! The new Delonghi "Edodecalk" descaling liquid will even more effectively remove limescale that accumulates in the coffee machine's water system - laboratory tests have shown that it is even 3 times more effective than traditional descalers. Take care of your coffee machine and it will always make delicious coffee for you.
How is the tool used?
This descaling agent (500 ml) is enough for 5 uses. For one use, 100 ml of liquid is used, which is dissolved in a container of water.
– If you have an automatic coffee machine (with grinder), run the descaling program (see the instructions for the specific coffee machine model). If you have a semi-automatic coffee machine, remove the coffee brewing handle and place empty containers under the cappuccino maker and under the coffee dispensing spout.
– With 5-minute breaks, dispense the entire mixture from the water tank through the cappuccino maker and the coffee outlet 4 times.
– Then do the same with clean water. Rinse the water tank thoroughly.
How often should this program be performed?
It depends on the hardness of the water you use - the harder the water, the more often this needs to be done (in automatic coffee machines, you can program the water hardness and the coffee machine will notify you when this program needs to be performed).
