Approximately 2 hours after application, the foam polystyrene sheets can be leveled and anchored, and then the reinforced layer can be applied using Ceresit CT 85, CT 87. Before securing EPS, the starter strips must be fixed. CT 84 should be applied with the gun, holding the container upwards and maintaining a distance between the gun and the plate, which allows for proper adhesive application.When securing plates in the additional insulation system with CT 84, the adhesive should be applied around the perimeter of the plate approximately 2 cm from the edge and in one strip across the center of the plate, parallel to the longer edges. When gluing insulation plate bases in insulation, apply CT 84 in five vertical strips parallel to the shorter edges of the plate, approximately 2 cm from the edge.Without delay, press the plate against the wall and, gently pressing with the long screed, hold it against the wall. The surface smoothness of EPS plates can be adjusted within 20 minutes of securing, using the long screed.
