The six game cards can be used like maxi flashcards , showing typical farm scenes with lots of visible details and several more hidden under the pull-out pieces. Open the box with the children and draw their attention to the six farm cards and allow them to piece them together into a horizontal rectangle. Pick up the cards, saying aloud the name of each place in the pictures and each object depicted: the farmhouse, the cowshed, the fields, the silo and tractor, the courtyard, the sheep pen, the vegetable plot, the fruit orchard etc. Ask the children to repeat the words out loud after you. Point out to the children that each card has pull-out pieces (there are small holes on the back of the cards to make it easier to push them out). Behind them are more animals or things, either behind a window or inside something else. Show the children, for example, that there´s a chicken run in the courtyard and when you push out the piece, there are chicks behind it. HEADU HEADU STEM game, Logic
Headu designs fun, high-quality games, toys, books and apps to help teach children essential skills using an innovative teaching method. Logic - a game for young children. “Baby Animals & Food” answers these questions in a simple, fun way. There are four different ways to play. 1/Match each mother with its baby and favorite food! Children complete these simple 3-piece puzzles and learn to recognize all the animals in them and the food that they like to eat. Once the mini-puzzles have been put together, parents can play with their children by asking them to name the animals and what they eat using questions. 2/Arrange all the puzzle pieces on a playing surface and separate them so that the adult holds all the “parent” pieces in a stack face-down, while the child has all the other pieces in front of them. The adult draws a card and looks at it without showing it to the child. The adult should try to imitate the animal on the piece by imitating the noise it makes or one of its characteristics. Adults could, for example, show bare teeth and jump to imitate a rabbit or walk slowly to emulate the slowness of a turtle. As soon as the child understands which animal it is, they must find the baby animal that matches it out of their pieces. 3/Arrange the pieces on a playing surface placing the 12 “parent” pieces on one side and the 24 “baby animals and food” pieces on the other side. Each player chooses a “parent” piece, finds its match and then chooses another one. The player who completes the most 3-piece puzzles wins the game.

HEADU HEADU STEM flashcards Baby logic
Headu designs fun, high-quality games, toys, books and apps to help teach children essential skills using an innovative teaching method. Choose a time when the children are interested and paying attention, and sitting comfortably in a well-lit, suitable spot. Show them the adult animal flashcards, one at a time, saying the name of the animal pictured out loud: “This is a cow, this is a penguin, this is a tiger, this is an elephant..” and so on. Playing with these special flashcards, children link animals to their young then put the pieces together to assemble a large scene with animal shapes. Use the Montessori three-period method to help the children learn the animals’ names. Ask the children to point to or give you a particular card, “Give me the penguin, give me the tiger...” and so on. Reinforce learning by asking the children to remember the names of the animals, “What is this called? And this?” If they can’t remember the names of some of the animals, don’t give them the answer, move on and ask them another question. Try to make the learning process as natural and spontaneous as possible. You can also adapt the three-period lesson to go over the parent-baby relationships, “This is a penguin.” “Which one is its little one?” Can you give me it?”; “This is a tiger.” “Which one is its little one?” “Can you give me it?” and so on.
